Crunchie's sent me two different kind of their freeze dried snacks. I got to review the BBQ Roasted Veggies and the Grapes. They both were very delicious! My favorite out of the two was the BBQ Roasted Veggies. It had a lot of corn in it and i'm a huge corn lover! I found that it didn't have a strong taste of BBQ. It had just a little hint of BBQ taste. I found that the peppers tasted a lot like bacon. I didn't taste any of the tomatoes in it. The peas and corn gave it a delicious sweet taste. It was so good i honestly ate the whole bag in one sitting. Thank goodness its a healthy snack and i'm getting my veggies in ha ha. The grapes was also was wonderful. They were very sweet and crunchy! I really enjoyed them a lot! I absolutely love these and can see myself grabbing for crunchie's freeze dried snacks instead of bad for you chips! I find this would also be a great hiking snack or a snack just to take on the go or to throw in your lunch box for work! If you are watching your diet these are absolutely perfect for you! You getting your servings of fruits and veggies! You also dont have all the calories of other snacks on the market! These are great! I fell in love with them and will be on the hunt for them . Crunchie's food company also has crunchie's for kids as well which is made for little hands and mouths. So your whole family can enjoy healthy snacking! - Fresh fruits and veggies are harvested and frozen within 24 hours, and then through a refrigerated, cooling process, are freeze dried at the packing facilities.
- 97% of the moisture is removed, while maintaining 94% of the nutrient and enzyme level of the whole fruit. Only about 44% of the water is removed from dried fruit, and the heat process destroys the nutrients and enzymes.
