My Review
I was so excited when i got the chance to review flowers for bouqs because, I'am a huge flower lover. I always love to have a bouqet of flowers or roses on my table. Bouqs sent me a dozen of their beautiful Desperado roses.It is a beautiful combination of pink roses with purple dianthus or similar accent flowers. When they arrived to me they came in a box and had instrutions on how to care for them,which comes in handy because some people are unsure how to take care of flowers. They also came with flower food. I unwraped the roses and took off the first layer of the rose petals off cause with every flower shipment the outside of the roses do dry up so you have to take that layer off. Underneath that layer the roses were so beautiful. Very vibrate pink color. It was breathtaking. I cut the ends of the stems under the water and put them in a vase with water and the flower food. I learned a trick growing up that if you add some ice cubes in the vase it helps the flowers live longer as well so i did that. The flowers lasted longer then most flowers that i have recieved in the pass. bouqs flowers lasted a whopping 3 weeks almost a month. I was very shocked as how long they lasted. Everytime i had company over they raved on how beautiful the roses were. They were a joy to have in my house. They also smelled amazing as well. I love the smell of roses!! So if you want an great company to order roses or flowers from for that special person in your life then i definatelly reccommend bouqs!! Keep them in mind for holidays as well flowers make a perfect gift for any holiday including birthdays!!! :]

We think of ourselves as a company, rather than a corporation. You know how you have company over to hang out, chat and have fun? That’s us. We’re company. We just so happen to be solving a problem while we're enjoying that company, and that problem is the customer experience when ordering flowers.
In short, prior to us, buying flowers online SUCKED. No more! We don't believe it's necessary to build tricks or half-truths into a customer experience to get someone to buy a product. Maybe that used to be the case, but with us it will never be. We believe we can be straightforward and honest and still build a really great business. Being good to the customer is not antithetical to financial success. The two are, actually, best friends.
We think of our customers as friends. Think about it: giving the gift of flowers is kind. It's nice. It's thoughtful. We like people that are these things - and that's what you're here to do. We love that! We will treat you as part of the family in every way we possibly can, and we will help you show love to those around you through flowers.
Love. An easy word to throw around. But we honestly love this stuff. Building something new. Changing the way something is done. Maybe we're not changing the world, but we're making it easier for you to send a meaningful message via flowers. And that's pretty cool.
Flowers have always been about the recipient. What should I get for them? What's her favorite color? What type might he like? And that's wildly important! But what about you, the buyer? How about a shopping experience that isn't confusing, that doesn't use 99 cent endings to imply things are cheaper than they are (the 'research' be damned, we know our customers are smarter than that!), that doesn't advertise one price, and have you end up paying double? How about 3 steps to order rather than 12? How about a shopping experience designed for the buyer?
The flowers are, in fact, better. For them. And the shopping experience is so much better it's not even close. For you.
By the way, our goal isn't to deliver good flowers. How about amazing flowers? Fresher flowers. Brighter. Affordable. Easy to order. Longer-lasting. Flowers from farms that treat the environment and their workers with care and respect? Yep, sounds good to us too.
Honestly though, when you get down to it, we're not in the business of flowers. We're in the business of helping you to be the best husband/boyfriend/son/daughter/brother/friend/cousin/colleague/whatever you can possibly be. And we're gonna make it easy on you.

FROM THE FARM TO YOUR DOOR
Our flowers never sit in a corner store or a dingy warehouse (where they send you the oldest, most-dead flowers they have in the fridge), and they never show up in a van with a 1-800 number on the side. We ship straight from an active volcano or from the sunny surf of California, seriously - we’re putting a little romance back in the Bouq.

We source only from eco-friendly, sustainable farms that respect the environment and their workers.
The first big difference:
We cut only what we sell. Other providers source from a supply chain that sees 1 in 3 stems wasted. Across hundreds of thousands of bouquets a year, that’s a lot of wasted land, resources, labor and fuel. We cut only when you order, so we avoid the waste.
We also save energy through our direct-from-the-farm supply chain. The standard supply chain must keep stems cold for up to 2 weeks, meaning hundreds of hours of refrigeration and the associated energy use. We use cold storage for only 4 days from the Volcano, and not at all from California, resulting in a lot of energy savings.
Finally, our farms provide living wages, childcare, healthcare and adult education. And our growing business supports farm communities, so you can feel good about shopping The Bouqs Company's flowers.
