My Review
Nick's sticks sent me 4 sticks in the flavors Free-Range Turkey, Free-Range Turkey Spicy, Grass fed Beef, and Grass fed Spicy Beef. I really enjoyed these snack sticks a lot! They taste a lot like slim jims but so much better. They were very delicious! I preferred The beef over the turkey but the turkey was amazing as well. I love how Nick sticks has No Additives,No Preservatives,No MSG.No Antibiotics,No Hormones,No Fillers,No Red Dye #3 in There casings. That just makes me not feel as bad for eating them knowing that they are not as bad as all the other snack sticks out there! Which is amazing! I'am so glad I got to try these cause i fell in love. I love beef sticks but i stay away from them cause I know how bad they are for me, Which sucks! Now with Nick's Stick's I can enjoy beef sticks again! That makes me so happy! You should definitely give them a try if you really love beef sticks as well! You will love them I promise! :]
INFO
- Low saturated fat — like snacking on chicken or fish
- High levels of “good fat” omega-3’s — hey, if you’re gonna eat fat… make it the good stuff!
- High doses of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) — really hard to say and spell, but it kicks cancer where the sun don’t shine
- 100% free-range bliss — our cows enjoy “outdoor recess” all day… everyday!
- Eco-friendly? — Sure, our cows produce a bit of natural methane… but our tractors stay in the barn!
Nick’s life is a roller coaster ride of sorts —
- 1997 — A would’a, could’a, should’a been college baseball star… curse you lymphoma!
- 1998 to Present — A cancer survivor
- 2003 — Co-founder of Wallace Farms (www.wallacefarms.com)
- Today — A leader within the natural foods industry
- Tomorrow — A person who you can always trust to bring you the healthiest, cleanest, most nutrient-dense snack sticks.
Nick Wallace is one of the founders of Wallace Farms, a100% grass-fedcattle farm located in Keystone, Iowa. He grew up in a town called Strawberry Point… charming, right? Ventured far west for college, landing in Corvallis, Oregon…. Dude! Got sick (see above) and finished school and chemo in Iowa City, IA…. Whoa! Then had a come-to-Jesus career moment that led to a year of culinary school in Colorado…. Free food + lift tickets = Gnarly! Finally, he returned “Back to the Land” that his great-great grandfather first farmed in 1894. Alleluia!
Today, other farmers simply watch in amazement as Nick stacks and packs the snacks that will keep you coming back! Try to say that 5 times fast!
Some farmers are turned on by confinement livestock, GMO feed and MSG. Nick and his cattle thrive on grass, sunshine and free-range living. Along the way, he developed the idea and the recipe for Nick’s Sticks. They are a straightforward, uncomplicated food that nourishes your body and soul. Read it and weep, Dalai Lama fans!
